Bandit,s Hideaway is a family friendly, vintage, weekend getaway on the Blanco River in Wimberley Texas. Guests have
been enjoying time spent here for 30 years. Guests return yearly to rest, and relax in the river. Patty is our newest adopted
resident dog. Mama cat and her son, kitty boy also live here. Children and dogs up to 46 pounds are welcome
at the Hideaway.
Wimberley has unique shops and 2 awesome thrift shops with lots of treasures.
Go to the Wimberley Playhouse for great plays and excellent performances, or to the Corral outdoor movie theatre for family
friendly, entertainment. Take a sidetrip toThe Enchanted Rock, or go to Jacob's Well for a swim in cool spring water, or go
for a pleasant walk through Blue Hole Regional Park. Bandit's Hideaway is an ideal location close to many Hill Country attractions
and activities. The cottage is perfect for 2 guests. It has a combo bedroom/sitting room with a
king bed, easy chairs, and cable tv. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, a small stove, microwave and all essentials for cooking
and serving meals. The outdoor patio has table and chairs and a charcoal grill. The loft
sleeps 5. The bedroom has a king bed. The living room has a full size futon, a day bed, and cable tv. The full size kitchen
is perfect for cooking meals. The nice, big deck is furnished and is a great place to relax or eat meals. Guests
mostly like to sit in the rock bottom river in provided chairs to read a book or sip a cool drink. Kids like to splash and
play. The covered sitting area above the river is a good spot for guests to watch the deer or other wildlife.
