On April 10, 2011 "Rosie"celebrated her tenth year as resident dog at Bandit's Hideaway. I
adopted Rosie from "Paws Animal Shelter" in Kyle,Texas. Rosie was pregnant, sick with heart-worms, and living under
an abandoned trailer when Paws found her. A week later, Rosie gave birth to seven beautiful puppies (all were adopted). Five
weeks later, a litter of two day old puppies arrived at the shelter. Their mother was hit by a car and died. "Rosie"
adopted the orphaned, puppies as her own and nursed them until they were old enough to be adopted into loving homes. Shortly
after the orphaned puppies were adopted, "Rosie" came to live at Bandit's Hideaway. She received lots of medical
care and lots of love to become healthy and happy. Rosie runs and plays near the Blanco River and greets guests arriving at
Bandit's Hideaway, named after the beloved border collie, Bandit. We are blesed with Bandit's loving spirit. This
year we have a new addition to the family. Arabell, a Jack Russell. She is Rosie's little sister. Life
is so good at Bandit's Hideaway!
